A Note from Sonia

Long before I started Liberating Quality Care, I was just a daughter trying to figure things out at my kitchen table.

When my father, a proud veteran, developed dementia, our family's world shifted overnight. Not long after, my husband began navigating epilepsy, and I found myself managing two very different, very demanding types of care under one roof. I learned firsthand the exhaustion, the worry, and just how hard it is to ask for help.

But I also learned what actually matters. It is not clinical routines; it is protecting a person's dignity in the quiet moments. It is making sure Dad's favorite coffee mug is on the table, keeping familiar morning routines intact, and having someone patient enough to sit through the difficult afternoons.

I built this agency because no family should have to carry that weight alone. When you welcome one of our caregivers into your home, you are getting someone I would trust with my own father: people who lead with patience, respect, and a genuine heart.
